Mercury is the planet of the mind and communication. 120 different colors in 8 different directions (sourced from paint sample chips) make up this modern day bas relief. Everything begins and ends within the mind.

This was my first completed collage series. I have been drawn to collage my whole life, and still today I expect to create more. I take an entirely intuitive approach to these posters. I let the magazines speak to me and the puzzle I put together as I go.

Based upon the 10 of swords tarot card, 10 double edged swords pierce a peacefully sleeping woman in a white garment. In her right hand dangles a smartphone. The 10 swords represent 10 ways that I cope with reality: Humor, Books, Music, Animals, Video games, Movies, Netflix, Instagram, Facebook, and Phone Contacts/Friends.
